A REGIONAL PLAN & MOVEMENT
With three goals, ten objectives, and several strategies to inform planning, policy, program, and investment opportunities, San Diego County Food Vision 2030 aims to guide collective action toward a healthy, sustainable, and just food system over the next decade.
Three Goals
Cultivate Justice
Increase health, wealth, leadership, and power for BIPOC communities across our food system
Fight Climate Change
Mitigate climate change impacts and adapt to the changing climate in the food system
Build Resilience
Increase integrated nutrition and food security and create an adaptive local food economy
The Dashboard
The dashboard is a place where we can collectively monitor and evaluate our progress toward achieving Food Vision 2030 over the next ten years. The indicators align with the ten objectives, and provide a snapshot of the current state of our food system.
